Quilt top/back preparation:

Your quilt top and back MUST be squared up. I need to pin both top and bottom to the rollers and if they are not square, the quilt will not mount straight. You will end up with puckers and possible tucks. All edges must be even across the top and bottom of both quilt top and back. Please use your rotary cutter to clean up both of these sides.
If I square up the top or back: $10 each, clean up the edges: $5.00.

Top and back must be ironed (pressed)
If I press the top: $15.
If I press back: $15.

If you piece the back be sure to remove the selvage first. It's a different thread weave and will not "move" as the rest of the fabric. The seam needs to be perpendicular to the top and bottom of your quilt.

Please be sure you add any borders on correctly. Wavy borders will not "quilt out" and you will end up with tucks. If you do not know the proper way to add a border email me and I'll send directions. This is very important! Repairs to a quilt top/back due to poor piecing, age, etc., $35/hour, min 2 hours.

Backing and batting must be 3 inches larger on all sides than quilt top, total of 6" longer and 6" wider than the top.

Binding service available. Machine stitch binding on the quilt and hand finish: 10 cents/inch

Any questions please call or email me. I'm only to glad to help!
